autumn ~ fall ~ herfst
Evening classes have started again. This is one of the first exercises that we had to make as a task.
Well, I LOVE that ! What is the subject of your class, Margot ?
I follow the course Paint Shop Pro X 6. Corel PaintShop Pro X6 is the sixteenth version of the popular photo editing suite. Arguably the closest rival to Adobe Photoshop. This year we are with six ‘students’, five women and one man… We already folowed together Publisher, Windows movie maker, Paint Shop Pro 1, 2 etc. It is just a way of having a moment for (to?) ourself, not just being the ‘housewife’ if you know what I mean…
But don’t those tech classes cost a fortune ?
I have a confession: for my image editing I am still using (on the other PC,the one that used to belong to my husband, and runs Win XP !) Corel Photo Paint 10 !!!! I can’t afford to upgrade; so I’m stuck with it.
I paid 80€ (100US$) for the program, photo-shop is much more expensive and we pay 75 € for 60 hours in the evening school and that is quite cheap. Going to the movies costs a lot more!
Ik ben onder de indruk!
Some years back (a lot !) I did two 2-day courses at the University of Sydney’s Continuing Education classes to learn how to use Dreamweaver 8 – and that’s about as far as I can go. 🙂
How did you find the words in my language… Well done!
I’ve forgot to tell you i’m following (thanks to you..) Hadrian’s Wall, a course organized by Future Learn I’ve have to be honest, as English is not my native language, I occasionally need a translation program. But so far so good. I don’t remember which course you were going to follow (Richard the ?, I hope everything goes OK .
I hope one day, may be next year, to make the Hadrian’s cycleway (or a part of it) in England.
That’s wonderful, Margot – gives you something to pin your MOOC studies to ! Not to mention something to look forward to. 🙂
